Predict the future: how will ___ change in 5 or 10 years?

If you have been involved in your niche for over 10 years, you have seen it evolve from where it was ten years ago and where it is now. You can also pretty much take your niche's pulse and see where it is going in the future. For instance, I've been an online writer for going on 14 years. I can tell you that 14 years ago, one person websites were laughed at by the powerhouses like Yahoo. Then they did an about face and bought GeoCities - a huge group of one person websites. Since they still did not understand what to do with these types of sites, well, they didn't do too much with them and now they aren't very popular.

But today, blogging is huge - a form of one person website. Where will it go from here? I think more mobile and perhaps more personal. I think families have a chance to get in on it and be closer with private chatter, like smaller twitters. I also think smaller better devices are going to be the rage in 5 years. It's fun to speculate about, like maybe something that attaches directly to your eye or ears?
