Blog carnivals are like parties on a blog. A group of blogs post on one particular topic(set by the monitor of the blog carnival). They all of the blog posts point back to the carnival and the carnival links in all of the posts. Some blog carnivals are done monthly, some done weekly, some bi-monthly, all up to the monitor.
