Summarize an Online Article

Time, Newsweek and other magazines write very long features and they post them on their sites. Very informative! I love them. But, I mostly love when I find a summary of these long articles first. Why? So I can get the gist of it right away and come back to it later to read in more depth. Summaries help your readers know that they want that information without investing too much of their closely guarded time.

How to summarize, you ask? Well, first you need to read and understand the content by reading it. List the article out by writing a 2-3 sentence introduction and the main points in as few words as possible. Then give a 2-3 sentence opinion if you wish.
