Write a ‘Here's why___ is better than ____' post.

Every niche has it's opinions on issues/products/etc. that are competitive. Don't shy away from giving your opinion on them with a blog post. Compare and contrast and then offer to post an opposing view from a user that writes in your comments. This will get your community talking and engage them further in your blog - big plus.

Caution: Curb any real fighting. My tag line: Conflicting views are always welcome, personal attacks are not. I delete the offending comment and then post the tag line as a comment from me. Users making the offending comments then get the hint without being embarrassed. Generally, visitors who are quick to make snide remarks fall in line. If not, it's Okay! You cannot and should not try to please all of the people all of the time.
