Write a Book Review

Reviewing someone else's work - whether it's a book or an eBook - is a big responsibility for a blogger as it not only speaks to the reputation of the author of the work, but also speaks to the reputation of the blogger. Although you will give your opinion on the book, possibly using personal experiences, use of your professional voice is imperative for book reviews.

Break down the book review into parts. I do a pro and cons list and my thoughts for my book reviews. Then I add the book description so those looking at the review can get a bit of impartial information too. You can offer these same things or add to them, but having a set template for book reviews on your blog will save you time and create consistency for your readers.
