Write your opinion on a traditional value.

There are traditional values in every niche. Take fashion for instance, you don't wear white shoes after Labor Day. But, I know some designers who make beautiful white boots and women like me wear them. Taking apart a traditional value and adding a new twist(like make a winter shoe type in a summery color) makes for an interesting blog post, right? This is especially true for your more experienced readers, who know the basics and can add to the conversation by either agreeing or disagreeing with you in your post's comments area.

You will need to tread lightly though, as some traditionalists may take offense, depending on what your blog's niche is. For instance, a blog about the Catholic religion may want to post something on why there are no women priests. A blog post of that nature would certainly have people with very strong feelings commenting on either side of that issue. You, as the blogger, will have to defend your opinion without allowing the post to become a flame war. My rule of thumb on these debates: Not everyone has to agree, but everyone has to be respectful.
