Write a Tutorial

Tutorial posts can be tough. They take some prep work and really need to be copy edited before posting. You should always write these up one day, then reread them the next day. After making any necessary changes, post to your blog. Otherwise, you may have more questions in your comments area then you thought or worse, people correct your directions - eep!

The easiest way to write up a tut (short for tutorial) is to take pictures while you do something and organize your directions to go with your pictures. After writing what is in each picture, read through your tut and add connecting directions to each stage.

Image Tip: When posting your tut to your blog, mark your pictures with your url. Seriously, image stealing is rampant, you might as well advise your url on the site that takes your pictures, right?
