Share-a-Sale Ad Network is a go… try it.

Share-a-Sale ad network seems to have a lot of crafty type of advertisers for publishers of blogs, us, to work with. Currently on my crafty personal site I am going to be using them in the scrapbook section. Just to be clear - they have a lot more than just crafty merchants, I was looking for the crafty ones - Check it out… sign ups were easy. Searching out merchants were a bit tedious, but they always are.
Affiliate advertising is pretty simple and used on most money-making blogs. To define it in the terms we will use for our blogs, it is a link to an advertiser to sell a product or service. When a product is sold, the blogger gets paid a percentage, based on the agreement the blogger has with the affiliate company.

What are Affiliate Networks?
Affiliate Networks are online companies that offer a publisher(blogger) the ability to sign up for many different affiliates all under their network. Commission Junction is one affiliate network that I have used and will be using on the blog. Never Blue Ads is a new one that I’ve picked up and we’ll see how it does, seems to be going well so far.
Direct advertising(direct ads) are when you set the price of the ad, sell the ad and collect the money yourself. These can be the most lucrative ads on your site. In order to do direct advertising, you’ll need to set up an advertising space, like my 125 X 125 ads on the side bar. You’ll also need a way for visitors to pay you, PayPal is my preferred method. When you have these two things, set up an advertising page to tell your perspective advertisers or sponsors what your blog offers and how they can easily get it.
