Christmas Is Coming for Blogging Moms Too

Yes, I know it is September, but how far have you gotten on your Christmas list? Me? Not as far as I would like. So, I’m turning to a site that will help me get organized and I thought you might benefit from it too. Just think of how much more blogging you can do when you don’t have the last minute Christmas rush that moms are overcome with because we have too much to do and not enough time.

It’s gone, I deleted it… I deleted them all… ack!
While trying to figure out why I couldn’t find my Word Press API key number so that I could install of a few plug-ins to check out and blog about, I deleted all of my comments, thinking I had only deleted the spammy ones.
For those who have left really cool and informative comments, please feel free to repost, and/or yell at me. I will try and not be so stupid in the future… For those who posted the spammy stuff, the plugin is now working, heh.
As for the Word Press API key number, you need to get a REAL username at Word Press. That means if you installed a Word Press blog from your domain name server, you need to go to wordpress.com and sign up for a username there too. I used the same username and password as for my blog and it synced me right in.
This was a bit confusing, so I hope it helps someone!

Just another manic Monday…

Since the audience for this blog is moms, I don’t have to explain the underlying ‘things to-do’ list - ya’ll already know where I’m coming from. Add to that the end of the year celebrations by the 6th grade class who is going to the middle school next year, my gs troop camping trip this past weekend and you know the exhaustion. But it’s Monday, not time to be lazy or overwhelmed because it is the START of the week. How you structure your Monday can define how your whole week will be structured. Do you want to do a series of blog posts that follow a certain theme? Is there a goal for this week that can be plotted out by the day? Think it through and use your Monday to its fullest advantage.

How beautiful! Yes, this is the first place I would go when I get enough money to travel the world… I love armchair traveling online, don’t you?
I am going to be running out to a school concert and I do not have to clear it with a boss… I love working at home and online!! Anyway, when I get back I’ll be cleaning up all of the odd pieces left from starting yesterday around the blog. all the links that point to the template designer’s pages that should point to my own rss feed(leaving one credit to the template designer is enough). My other goal for today is to get adsense running and explain more about that. Let’s cross our collective fingers.
Update: All cleaned up! Now time to build…
