Imperative Places to Put Keywords in Your Articles

Doesn't matter if you are writing for blogs or for web sites, your keywords have to show up in certain places in order for search engines to recognize and use them. Here is a list of the five most important places to put your keywords:

1. In the meta tags. Title, keyword list and description should all contain your key words.
2. Title of your page or post. This is a must. Plus any other titling you use in the body of your web article or post.
3. Somewhere in the first paragraph of your web article. Some people believe the first sentence but the standard that I have lived by has been within the first 250 words.
4. In the url of a link you have in the article. For example:
Do not: Please see this article.
Do: Please see our article on knitting.
5. When you use an image, use the alt tags to describe it using the keywords.
