How Mom Makes Money Online
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||
1. Jot down ideas as you have them. Don't waste time when you're sitting in front of your content software to remember - or not - that great idea you had while walking through the mall yesterday.
2. Got ten minutes after writing a blog post or tip? Write a follow up post or tip and set it to post to your blog at a future date or place it on your calendar to upload at a later date. Remember to put a link to the first blog post in the follow up post.
3. Lower your workload, but keep up with your goals. If you have set yourself up to blog once a day, you'll still need to do that. But, you could plan out a series of tips/photos/FAQs, posting one a day. These smaller easier to write pieces are valuable to readers and will keep your blogging or website at its best while giving you more time with your kids.
4. Share your online work expectations with your family. Be sure to add the expectation that they will be helping you reach your career goals or you may not be reaching your feeding-them-goals.
5. Create extra time either early or late. I get more done on my blog in the fifteen minutes after my first cup of coffee before my kids get up then I do most mornings when they are home. Some people do much better at night. Make the most of these 15 minute spans.
